- The competition is your opportunity to compete in a fun competitive atmosphere while receiving feedback from some of the Hottest Hip Hop Choreographer’s in the industry.
- The competition is limited to the first 10 groups that register with payment in full!
- All competition dancers must be registered with a studio, group, or crew for the day of the Hip Hop Extreme Workshop.
- Dancers competing must wear their wristbands during the competition.
- Competition dancers must be at least 9 years of age.
- Dancers may only compete with one studio, group or crew!
- Each studio, group, or crew entering a routine for the competition must have a minimum of 6 dancers. There is a maximum limit of 15 dancers per group. No solos, duos, trios, or groups smaller than 6 dancers.
- All routines must consist of any of the following styles” HIP HOP, POPPING, LOCKING, BREAKDANCING, KRUMPING, or any other street dance style.
- All routines may be no longer than 3 minutes!
- A master CD and backup CD must be turned in at the registration table that morning upon check in for the HHEW. (No Tapes, IPOD’s, MP3’s or any other music devices.) ONLY CD’S WILL BE ACCEPTED.
- No dangerous props may be used (swords, fire, etc.) General props are allowed but must be taken on and off quickly from the stage during your performance. If you have any questions about the props you are going to use, please contact us for authorization.
- Routines must be free of any vulgar lyrics, gestures, and inappropriate clothing. All music must be edited.
If any of these guidelines are not followed your routine will be pulled from the competition.
